The Christiansburg Rescue Squad will host a spaghetti dinner on Oct. 8, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at the Christiansburg High School cafeteria. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. For more information, please contact the Christiansburg Rescue Squad at (540) 382-9518.

Principle John Wheeler says they’ve been frantically trying to revitalize the building in time for the first day. “It’s been a great experience in a lot of respects.
